ADULT GUARDIANSHIP REVIEW: Reviews placement for adults requiring legal guardianships.
ADVENTURES IN READING: Read one-on-one with young children in schools.
ADVOCACY AND ACTION - STATE PUBLIC AFFAIRS: Monitor and advocate for political issues at the local, state and federal levels.
CHILDREN'S ADVOCATES: Court Appointed Guardianship Services Advocate for children requiring legal guardianships within the Oakland County Family Court System.
COMMUNITY OUTREACH COMMITTEE: Participate in special programs for the disadvantaged and the elderly.
EDUCATION ASSISTANCE: Award interest free loans and grants to Jewish students for undergraduate and graduate study.
FUNDRAISING: Plan special fundraising events..
JEWISH NEWS ON TAPE: Audio tape Jewish News articles for the visually impaired.
JEWISH YOUTH AWARDS: Recognize Jewish high school seniors for their achievements and service to the community.
JUST 4 KIDS: Plan family events and organize programs for children.
MEALS ON WHEELS: Pack and deliver kosher meals to the homebound.
MEMBERSHIP: Help recruit and retain members.
OFFICE ASSISTANCE: Assist with mailings and other clerical work.
PROGRAMMING: Plan social, educational programs for members and non-members.
PROJECT FRIENDSHIP: Participate in a supervised Sunday brunch program for Kadima clients with psychiatric problems.
PUBLIC AFFAIRS COMMITTEE: Plan programs to educate the community regarding issues of concern to NCJW.
PUBLIC RELATIONS: Assist with Bulletin and marketing NCJW.
SPACE: Facilitate support groups coping with death.
TRIBUTE ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS: Assist with sending tributes.
UP AND OUT: Plan and/or participate in a program providing entertainment, transportation and refreshments to seniors.
WRAPPED IN LOVE by NCJW: Creates blankets for children involved with Protective Services.
