Hannah's Heroines
Make a financial gift to help
perpetuate National Council of Jewish Women, Greater Detroit Section
In the late 1800s, Hannah G. Solomon was elected as the first national president of National Council of Jewish Women. She was a pioneering woman of vision and courage. She was committed to creating better communities, a better world, and a better tomorrow. Over a century later, in our Greater Detroit Section, we have had many women who have followed in Hannah's footsteps.
Today, you can contribute to continuing the legacy of courageous women like Hannah, who have pioneered social change, by making a donation and becoming one of Hannah's Heroines.
Please contact NCJW/GDS at 248-355-3300, ext. 0 for more information, or
send email to:
Irma Glaser, President,
or
Susan Gertner, Executive Director
Your Tax Deductible donation
will allow the continuance of our community service projects that improve the quality of life for women, children and families in the Detroit metropolitan area.

Scrip Cards
DO YOU
GROCERY SHOP? Shop and benefit NCJW!
Scrip is a great way to donate to our section and never miss a
dime. If you shop at Kroger, Hiller's, Holiday
Market, or Johnny Pomodoro's, you can participate. Every time you buy groceries with Scrip, 5% of your purchase will be donated to NCJW/GDS. You don't pay any more for your groceries, but our section makes money with every purchase you make. If you spend $100 a week on groceries, at the end of a year, you will have contributed $260 to GDS. If 100 of our 1600 members did that, GDS would receive $26,000 in one year. Amazing!
- KROGER: See our member Bulletin or Dates2Remember newsletter for details, or call the NCJW/GDS office at 248-355-3300, ext. 0 for more information.
- HILLER'S: Pick up a gift card at the NCJW
office, add dollars onto the card at
Hiller's service desk, and use when paying for your groceries.
- HOLIDAY MARKET: Pick up a scrip gift card at Holiday Market's customer service desk and inform them you are using it for NCJW/GDS.
- JOHNNY POMODORO'S: Purchase a gift card at the NCJW/GDS office and add dollars onto the card at Johnny Pomodoro's; then use the card when paying for your groceries.
Thank you in advance for shopping
and benefitting NCJW/GDS. Your purchases help to support our many community service projects.
