Every Monday, and Second Sunday of the Month (No Sundays in July & August)
Time: 10:00am - 1:00pm
on Mondays; 1:00pm - 3:00pm on second Sunday
Abused and neglected children are removed from their homes every day by
Protective Services. They are placed in foster care homes or institutions. The
warm and cuddly blankets we make for them ease some of the trauma they are experiencing.
Your help is so important and it is so easy. Just drop in to the Council office on any Monday, no need to make a reservation. No sewing is involved, just cutting and tying. We provide all the materials, equipment, and even coffee & snacks. Give it a try and bring a friend or two!
Mitzvah Sunday is an opportunity for children and teens who want to participate in Wrapped in Love for mitzvah credit or community service activity. Bar/Bat Mitzvah students, youth groups, or BBYO are welcome to join as
individuals or a group project.
But you must call the NCJW/GDS office at (248) 355-3300 ext.0 by the Friday
prior to the second Sunday of the month to confirm your participation. No
Sundays in July & August, but all ages are welcome to come on Mondays at 10!
