SPACE for Changing Families is a non-sectarian service. The majority of funding comes from the National Council of Jewish Women, Greater Detroit Section. Funding is also received from the DeRoy Testamentary Fund, donations, tributes and participant fees.  Click here for more information about upcoming group meetings.

DO YOU BUY GROCERIES AT HILLER,
HOLIDAY MARKET OR KROGER?

Shop at Hillers, Holiday Market or Krogers to benefit NCJW/GDS. Hiller's card is no charge and we get 5% of purchases. Kroger's card costs $5, which then goes toward grocery purchases and we get 5% of the purchase. At Holiday Market you purchase your card for a specific dollar amount which goes towards your grocery purchase.  You can pick up a card at the NCJW/GDS office. It's easy and no extra cost to you.

Presentation of the Josephine S. Weiner 
      Community Service Award to Marilyn Levine
Boutiques open 9:30 a.m.
Luncheon at 12:30 p.m. 
Speaker at 12:45 p.m. 
Cost: $50 speaker and lunch or $25 for speaker only.

NEW STORE HOURS are Monday-Saturday 9:00-5:00 p.m.  Volunteers needed to help in the stores. Help tag, sort and hang clothes. Call Kelly at 248.548.6664.

Remember, we continue to collect: 
* Cell phones for women in shelters
* Eyeglasses for the Lions Club
* Soda can tabs used to purchase household supplies for Ronald McDonald House 
* Small toiletries to be given to Yad Ezra, Safe Place and Haven
Drop off items at the NCJW/GDS office 9:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.
